I decided to have a little fun with Google Maps and PowerPoint this morning to come up with Nathan’s LRT System for the South Fraser. My first thought was to connect the Interurban Line with Translink’s King George/104th Ave Busway (making it all light rail.) The next step was to connect it up with the Evergreen LRT line. Planners say that people do not like making transfers on transit. Planners also say that of the small amount of people that cross the Fraser from Surrey, most are going to the Tri-Cities area. So, I though it would make sense to connect the two systems together. Enjoy the map!
This blog shares my advocacy and thoughts on Langley and Metro Vancouver over the past two decades. I served as a Langley City Councillor from 2016 to 2022 and as Mayor from 2022 to 2026. This blog is now archived.
