Free workstation for those who care for seniors

I received the following information about an upcoming workshop being hosted by Fraser Health that I thought I would share.

PAUSE. Picture the seniors - past, present, future. Act on the senior's values, wishes and beliefs. Understand and enhance the senior's experience.

Take time to PAUSE: Free Education for those who care for seniors

Why? This interactive workshop teaches you to think differently about aging. What’s normal, what’s not and how to support the senior to experience care they need in the right place, with the right provider, at the right time, the first time.

Who is welcome? Any community members, whether you work for an agency that cares for seniors, work at a place seniors frequent, are a senior or a caregiver for a senior. Truly, if your life touches a seniors life, you are invited to come to this interactive workshop on aging, normal and not normal, recognizing complications that impact recovery and networking with others experiencing aging personally or vicariously.

When?
Thursday, April 25, 2019
8:30am to 1:00pm
Langley Golf Centre
21550 44 Avenue

Space is limited. If you have any questions or would like to RSVP, please email Shannon.Ediger@fraserhealth.ca with subject line: PAUSE community.
