It's a good sound bite. Too bad the communities South of the Fraser will only see $1.1 billion on a 6km SkyTrain extension to Fleetwoord, and get to share $1.2 billion in bus money with the rest of the province. All by 2020. Meanwhile, the Port Mann bridge will be under major construction during the Olympic Games... so much for reasonable balance. :-)
He left out my best line... "Four billion for bridges, and fourteen billion for transit: that seems like a reasonable balance to me."

ReplyDeleteyep, it would cover light rail on the Interurban ROW, King George Highway/104th, and there would be money left over for things like streetcars..
