They spout off about the $34B or so they plan to spend, but we see little in the way of real transit expansion programs. Let's see... we've got BC Liberals giving themselves a 54% raise, while crucial services languish for lack of funding. 1% funding from parking sales tax is ridiculous. Why don't they hike up public metered parking (giving the closest local residents a small discount) and demand more revenue from that?
